• Bug Count (P-0 and P-1): 1, but already ready for testing
• Shipped this week:
  • New Daisy Chain sub-metering measure. We added support for a specific type of electricity sub-metering system used in multifamily buildings. Owners can now see costs and savings projections for installing this system, including the ongoing service fees, modeled accurately over time.
  • Parametric measure modeling (Phase 1). Early groundwork for letting users adjust measure parameters (e.g., system size, scope) and see how that affects costs and savings — more flexibility coming in future phases.
  • Program-wide project visibility controls — System admins can now grant certain team roles the ability to see (or edit) all projects within a program at once, without needing to share each project individually.
  • Phase notification settings for program admins — Program admins can now control whether their team receives email notifications when a project moves to a new phase, giving programs more control over their communication preferences.

This Week’s Highs and Lows

• Energy Usage Intensity percentile scores - to help users evaluate retrofit impact potential, we can now report how efficient a building is compared to other buildings with similar characteristics (e.g. vintage, usage, heating system). (FRH)
• Boston prep - we’re dusting off our 2024 Boston/BERDO data pipelines, updating them with new benchmarking data and covered building list in preparation for a possible “NYCA for Boston.” (FRH)
• “3D Scopes” - Scopes-over-time have all the complexity of scopes, plus a time dimension and the need to support partial measures that get completed gradually. We’re progressing on the plan itself, and the implementation of pre-reqs. (FRH)
• First “Energy Program Manager” channel agreement signed with our customer First Service Energy. This agreement structurally aligns us so that they are incentivized to work with me to push Momentum to their buildings and generate transactions. We each share 50/50 in revenue generated via these transactions. First Service Energy is the subsidiary of the largest property manager in the US. (MZ)
• First “Platform Participation Agreement” signed with Daisy Chain, a technology vendor. Daisy Chain will pay us when Momentum + my customer success can give building owners the confidence to say “yes” to their solution and transact. More interestingly, there are additional follow on larger revenue opportunities stemming from Daisy Chain installations. (MZ)
• Momentum team got a lot done this week, and we’re very close to transitioning CPC CFHF over! (JMB)
• Adding program-wide access settings for program managers unblocked our HCR customers! (JMB)
• Week two of delivering duel NYCA Momentum webinars for Owner/Managers and Service Providers (JIB)
• Up to over 350 Teams registered in Momentum for NYCA since mid-April. (JIB)
