Who am I?

Away from work

I’m based in Wilmington, DE, but I alternate between Delaware and NYC. I LOVE road biking, and I completed my first century ride (100 mi) in 2022. I do not commute to NYC by bike, unfortunately.

I adore building things out of Legos, particularly remote-controlled vehicles (but never from instructions!). I also love woodworking (I built a chest out of old floorboards) and building tools using Claude. I’m particularly interested in different AI-enabled automations for personal finance and professional applications.

I’m currently spinning up a group for youth and young adults to build AI-literacy in a structured and focused way.

I’m left-handed, I did a term of service through AmeriCorps, I’m an Eagle Scout, and I’m fluent in French! Parlez-vous français?

At work

I love “sustainability,” so much so that I got my M.S. in Sustainability Management! You are all providing me an amazing opportunity to apply my love of decarb to the built environment!

I have work experience at MSCI doing Climate Risk and Scenario Analysis for commercial real estate clients and some small ESG analysis firms in a Product and Project Manager capacity. I am skilled in Excel, and in Python and R (if I have a Claude window open nearby).

I strive to be a patient and responsive team member.

Goals

Learning goals

To rotate through different functions, learn the baseline of each workflow, find its friction points, and propose ways to ease them. To me, this means practicing root-cause analysis and solution design.

Career goals

I want to be at Cadence15 as long as I can! I think that the mission is super aligned with my background and my interests, and I look forward to demonstrating my ability over the coming months. I can’t wait to see what opportunities for me we find together!

I’m also interested in ESG analysis and positions where I can work to make the “business-case” for sustainability. My interest and experience in finance, accounting, and modeling is something I want to leverage in whatever opportunities come my way.

I love face-to-face interaction, even remote. That means I almost always keep my camera on, and I hope you do the same!

The whole team is engaged! I love to throw in ideas, but I also do my best to ensure everyone has an opportunity to contribute. I love to be asked for help, and so I am always ready to put in my 2¢.

Schedule and availability

I am in EST. I like to have pomodoro-style work days, where my meetings are interspersed with solo or group work sessions. I usually build in buffers around work tasks and that helps me ensure I provide accurate timelines for when I’ll get stuff done.
