Who am I?

Away from work

I am a 26 year old who likes to spend time with his family, go into the wilderness for hunting, fishing and photography. In our free time with my wife we try to explore Macedonia, you will get surprised at how many natural wonders it has to offer.

At work

With 5+ years of experience in accounting and financial reporting strictly for US based entities, I’ve come to love the simplicity of the US GAAP as well as honing my knowledge in different sectors of accounting. Fun fact I am a numbers geek and patterns are my strength, this most likely the reason I fell in love with accounting. Goals

Learning Goals

For the past couple of years I was on and off taking courses for SQL and Python, but never managed to finish them up because my time management was tight and there was no room. With that being said I think 2025 is the year for change and improvement. I hope I will finish those courses and strengthen my reporting capabilities.

Career Goals

As mentioned in the previous paragraph, I would like to move in strictly a reporting and development role when it comes to financial reporting. I absolutely thrive on deadlines! They help me stay organized and focused, especially given my contractor role and limited hours. Having due dates for everything we need allows me to plan effectively and bring my best work under pressure.

How to Support Me as a Person

I tend to break up my work hours, so I prefer to have meetings and then tackle tasks when it fits my schedule best. I love the flexibility this job provides; it helps me balance my personal and professional life seamlessly. Deadlines are key to helping me manage everything effectively!

I think feedback is the most important thing when it comes to work, as I am new to this company structure and business model I think feedback will make me excel. I would like to have feedback right away when I do something wrong in order to correct myself.

Technical Preferences

I always love new technologies to try out but I would say that I am a heavy excel/office user as well as Quickbooks user. I try to engage with PowerBi when I have a chance or a project.

Schedule and Availability

I am available on slack during the whole day, but when it comes to meetings it would suit me best if they are 6 PM to 10 PM CET or 10 AM to 2 PM CET.
