Cadence OneFive’s Key Partnerships, Customers, and Policy Interests

The goal of the document is to give folks unfamiliar with building decarbonization TLDR’s to Cadence OneFive’s work, including partnerships and customers. Where applicable, the corresponding Hubspot link has been provided.

The revenue team is responsible for updating and maintaing the information in this document.

LL97 is New York City’s landmark building emissions law targeting major carbon reductions from large buildings. It sets GHG caps for large buildings, starting in 2024. It’s one of the most ambitious municipal climate policies in the U.S. and a main driver of Cadence OneFive’s inception.

L+M is a New York–based real estate development firm focused on affordable and mixed-income housing. The company manages large residential developments and often works with public agencies / local governments. L+M is one of Momentum’s subscription customers. They use momentum to screen buildings.

Willdan is an engineering and energy consulting firm that helps utilities, governments, and businesses implement energy efficiency and decarbonization programs. Willdan helps with energy transition efforts nationwide including LL97. Willdan is one of Momentum’s subscription customers. We also partner with them to launch pilots on new product features.

NYC Accelerator is a free, city-backed program helping building owners comply with LL97. NYCA provides personalized technical guidance, financial incentives navigation, and vendor connections to advance energy efficiency and electrification projects. As of November 2025, Cadence will administer NYCA. They are one of our largest customers.

KC3 is a New York–basedconsulting firm advancing equitable clean energy adoption in multifamily and affordable housing.KC3 partners with utilities, government agencies, and community organizations to help building owners and residents access energy efficiency programs. KC3 is a Momentum subscription customer. We also support their advisory side.

HPD (NYC Department of Housing Preservation and Development)

HPD is the New York City agency responsible for affordable housing development, preservation, and tenant protection.It administers financing programs, enforces housing maintenance codes, and partners with developers to expand the city’s affordable housing stock. Cadence OneFive works with HPD on a variety of fronts. They have a Momentum subscription.

NYSERDA (New York State Energy Research and Development Authority)

NYSERDA is New York State’s public agency driving clean energy innovation, efficiency, and decarbonization across sectors. They design and administer programs that fund renewable energy deployment, building retrofits, workforce development, and technology research. Cadence is creating a Building Data Platform (BDP) for NYSERDA. This includes parts of our internal BKB. It is currently hosted on Metabase.
