Cyrielle Rausch
Hi! I am Cyrielle - She/Her.
You can pronounce my name by thinking of Ariel from The Little Mermaid and starting with a “Si.” You can also call me Cycy.
## At Cadence OneFive, my role is…
Generalist Intern
## Who am I?
### Away from work
I’m French and have been living in New York for over four years. I still love spending my weekends exploring the city.
What energizes me most is stepping out of my comfort zone. I love learning, understanding different perspectives, and adapting to unfamiliar situations.
Spending time with my husband, family, and friends is one of my favorite things. I love traveling, hiking, and being in the wilderness.
I’m also a sustainability enthusiast. My mantra: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. I love sharing practical ways to reduce our impact on our wonderful ecosystem.
### At work
I have a background in law, but early in my career I moved into project management. I worked for French port authorities on the decarbonization of seaports and industrial hubs.
When I moved to the US, I wanted to work on sustainability at a neighborhood scale, so I opened a zero-waste store — a refill store where plastic is banned and the circular economy is a cornerstone.
After a few amazing and challenging years, I realized I was missing larger-scale projects with a broader impact. I decided to focus on building energy efficiency and decarbonization and pursue training in the field.
## Goals
### Career goals
My goal is to learn as much as possible about building decarbonization so I can help owners, decision-makers, and other stakeholders navigate compliance requirements and empower them throughout their CO₂ reduction journey.
## Ways of working together
Communication is essential to me. I enjoy meetings because I love human connection, but email, Slack, and messages are also great for efficiency. I like having milestone meetings to ensure alignment, shared understanding, and good team connections.
I love debating ideas (probably some French upbringing here!). I see it as a good way to share ideas, exchange points of view, and brainstorm together.
### You can lean on me to…
I’m a good problem-solver, so if you’re facing a challenge and I can help, I’ll do whatever I can to support you. If I have relevant knowledge, resources, or perspective to share, I’m always happy to contribute.
### How to support me as we work together
Understanding the context is important to my process, so don’t hesitate to give me the big picture, relevant details, and a bit of history.
I’m organized, and I like having deadlines because they help me manage my time effectively. So, feel free to share your timeline and expectations for a project.
### Feedback preferences
Be direct. I’m not easily offended, and I prefer clear feedback that helps me grow, both personally and professionally.
### Schedule and availability
Working hours 9am to 5pm. Timezone: US Eastern.
